Perforation is a rare but dangerous complication of duodenal diverticula. The nonspecific presentation makes the diagnosis difficult. Despite mainly treated surgically, recent case reports describe good clinical outcomes after conservative treatment. We present 2 cases of a spontaneous perforated duodenal diverticulum treated conservatively with favourable clinical outcome. Keywords: duodenal diverticulum, complication, perforation.. |
