The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on May 25th, 2018 and has major implications worldwide. All these changes must be prospectively acknowledged by the user and cannot be presumed to have occurred. The proof rests with the websites to be able to demonstrate consent has been obtained previously.
What information do we collect about you?

When accessing our website either individually or through a third party, a hospital authority, a colleague or other, we do not collect your personal information as the site is an open-access journal website (see our Open-access policy), which means that all content is freely available, without having to create a personal account and without charge to the user or his/her institution.
